Do you provide training at workplaces and other venues?

Yes. We can deliver group training at workplaces, schools, early learning centres, sporting clubs, community facilities and other suitable venues across the Macedon Ranges, Melton, Werribee and surrounding areas.

How do I arrange a group booking?

Contact us with your preferred course, approximate number of participants, location and suitable dates. We will discuss availability and provide tailored pricing for your organisation.

Is there a minimum number for group training?

Group arrangements depend on the course, location and your organisation’s requirements. Contact us with your expected participant numbers and we will recommend the most suitable option.

How is the training delivered?

Course delivery may include online learning followed by a practical, face-to-face training and assessment session. The exact delivery format and requirements will be shown when you book.

All practical assessments must be completed in person.

How long does a course take?

Course duration depends on the unit, delivery format and participants’ previous experience. Your booking information will show the expected online and face-to-face requirements for your chosen session.

Do I need a Unique Student Identifier?

Yes. You need a valid Unique Student Identifier, commonly called a USI, to receive a nationally recognised statement of attainment. You can create or locate your USI through the Australian Government’s USI website.

Are there any physical requirements?

First aid and CPR courses include practical assessments. Participants undertaking CPR assessment must demonstrate CPR on a manikin placed on the floor, including at least two minutes of uninterrupted CPR.

Please contact us before booking if you have an injury, disability or other concern that could affect your participation. Reasonable adjustments may be available, provided all required assessment standards can still be met.

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to kneel and participate safely in practical activities. Enclosed, flat footwear is recommended.

What should I bring?

Please bring:

  • Photo identification

  • Your Unique Student Identifier

  • Any information requested during enrolment

  • Comfortable clothing suitable for practical activities

Complete any required online learning before attending your face-to-face session.

When will I receive my certificate?

After you have successfully completed all training and assessment requirements, supplied a verified USI and met the enrolment requirements, your statement of attainment will be processed by Allens Training Pty Ltd, RTO 90909.

How often should first aid and CPR training be renewed?

The Australian Resuscitation Council recommends refreshing CPR skills annually. First aid qualifications are commonly renewed every three years, although some workplaces and industries may require more frequent training.

Always check the requirements that apply to your employer, professional registration or industry.

Can you accommodate different learning or accessibility needs?

We aim to provide a welcoming and supportive learning environment. Please contact us before booking to discuss any accessibility, language, literacy or learning support you may require.

Any adjustment must still allow the required skills and knowledge to be properly demonstrated.

Can children or teenagers attend?

Minimum-age arrangements can depend on the course and the participant’s ability to meet all assessment requirements. Please contact us before booking a participant under 18. Parent or guardian consent may be required.

What happens if I am late?

Please arrive at the time stated in your booking confirmation. Arriving late may mean you miss mandatory course content and cannot complete the assessment that day.

Contact us as soon as possible if you expect to be delayed.

Can I change or cancel my booking?

Changes, cancellations and refunds are subject to the booking terms and conditions. Please contact us as early as possible if you cannot attend your scheduled course.

What happens if Macedon Ranges First Aid cancels a course?

If a session cannot proceed, we will contact affected participants and explain the available transfer or refund options. Please ensure your contact details are entered correctly when booking.

Is parking available?

Accessible parking is available at the Peter Burns Club Rooms in Lancefield. Parking arrangements at other course locations may vary and will be provided with the relevant booking information.

Can you tailor training to our workplace or club?

Yes. Group sessions can incorporate practical examples and emergency scenarios relevant to your workplace, school, sporting club or community organisation while still meeting the requirements of the nationally recognised unit.

Do you offer non-accredited courses?

Yes. We also offer selected non-accredited courses for community members and organisations seeking practical skills without a nationally recognised qualification. Visit our Non-Accredited Courses page or contact us for current options.
